Bonnearin Sin

Inspired by her late father who highly valued education and was the first president to launch University of Battambang in Cambodia in the 60s, Bonnearin is honored to be a part of this team.

Bonnearin resided in the U.S. in 1981. She started school as a freshmen at Beaverton High and moved on to attend Portland State University. Bonnearin began her career at Bureau of Land Management as a Programmer/Analyst. Family is her top priority, so after the birth of her second child, Bonnearin put her passion in programming aside to devote her time to her family. Over the years of being a stay at home mom, Bonnearin was an active school volunteer and a Cambodian community volunteer, primarily as a dance director and dance teacher for eight consecutive years. “I find great pleasure watching my students preserving our dance tradition and heritage,” says Bonnearin. With her children all grown up now, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, shopping, entertainment and fine dining. As a Cambodian classical dancer, Bonnearin also has great appreciation for music, art, yoga, martial art forms, and Cambodian traditional dance.
